Describing experiences (vocabulary & corrections)
ADJECTIVES:
hard-working, poor, busy, wonderful, happy, tough, challenging, meaningful, motivated, stressful, satisfying, nervous, anxious
--> It was an amazing experience for me (past).
--> I have to be responsible for my life.
--> I am really excited.
1) I have studied English abroad.
GRAMMAR TENSE = present perfect
MEANING = completed action in the past but we do not know when it happened
2) I studied English at university.
GRAMMAR TENSE = past simple
MEANING = completed action in the past with a specific time (at university)
--> The first sentence tells us ....
--> I have been a teacher since 2014.
Present perfect (second way): to talk about something that started in the past and continues in the present.
--> I haven't eaten in the cafeteria today.
