locate: can not stat () `/var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db': No such file or directory

今天在阿里云订购了一台云主机好开心，好开心，经过一段折腾，终于开始使用了。想运行“locate”命令出现“locate: can not stat () `/var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db’: No such file or directory”，想了一下，在输入了“updatedb”然后就没问题了，具体原因可查询鸟哥的linux私房菜。
