December 19th 2016 Week 52nd Sunday
Truth and roses have thorns about them.
真理和玫瑰,身边都有刺。
Either truth or roses, they all have thorns around them, if we want to get them, we must pay the price and withstand the pains.
But sometimes, we may be hurt by their thorns and even may bleed to death before we can get them.
We aim above the mark to hit the mark.
我们瞄准时箭头要稍高于靶心,才能射中靶心。
Let the aim a little higher, otherwise we may be statisfied with lower accomplishments.
When I read this sentence, I suddenly was taken back to the moment I was taught how to use a gun to shoot a target of about 50 metres away.
The drillmaster told me that I should aim the mark first, then raise the gun slightly above the target and pull the trigger.
If there's no other problems, I would hit the target.
Yes, I did, five bullets, totally 40 rings, a good result for a green hand.
It is the same in our life when we set some goal and press on it, we might as well set the goal a little higher, then the result may be as good as we expected.
