安装ubuntu10.10时遇到ubi partman crashed，ubi-partman failed with exit code 141的解决方案

问题描述：

我在安装ubuntu10.10和linux deepin 10.12时都碰到了这个问题。我是准备把系统安装到一个16G的U盘上，所以安装时选择了“手动指定分区(高级)”，进入分区界面选择删除U盘上的fat32分区时，问题发生了。具体原因未知，英文论坛上有很多关于这个问题的讨论，有兴趣的可以自行google。
解决方案：

解决的方法也很简单，先用fdisk给U盘分好区，再进入安装程序安装即可。或者先用fdisk把U盘上的分区删除，然后再进入安装程序分区也成。至于fdisk的用法，也请自行google。
