[限定词]许多:The trip wasn't much fun.Was there much discussion?
[代词]许多:She didn't say very much. Much of the book is unreadable.
[副词]许多:I don't like this colour much.

语法结构

2 so/too/as | + much | ( +  不可数名词)
  I have so much work to do.
  They spend too much on their clothes.
  You can have as much as you like.
  表示某物的数量或程度

3 not | ( + very )| + much | ( + 不可数名词)
  There isn't much coffee left : shall I get  some more ?
  You haven't eaten very much.
  How much does he earn? ~Not much.
