Beta Information

The beta testing process is very important because it helps ensure that we release the best possible product. We have selected you from a large pool of applicants because we believe you will provide us with the feedback necessary to accomplish this goal.

Before you continue, it is important to understand that the beta release of any product will not display the stability of a shipped Microsoft product. You may encounter problems with BizTalk Server 2006, which could possibly result in a loss or destruction of data. This release is not appropriate for production use, and we suggest that you back up your existing data before you install and run this software.

The BizTalk Server 2006 Beta-2 Management Pack is a set of rules that define how to monitor Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 servers with Microsoft Operations Manager 2005.

This management pack enables you to:
1. Monitor the health and availability of the BizTalk Server components.
2. Collect key performance data for BizTalk Server.
3. Start common tasks in context of MOM alerts.
4. Monitor overall health though state view for BizTalk server computers.

Reporting Bugs

Use the BizTalk Server 2006 bug form to report any problems you encounter. When filing a bug, it is important that you provide as much detail about the hardware and operating systems in use, the scenario you were working through, and the symptoms you saw. The more details we have the more likely we are to be able to reproduce your problem and work on a fix.  Here is an example of a good bug report.

Newsgroups

We are using newsgroups as the primary source of support for this program.  Please go to the Participation Info area and follow the instructions for setting up newsgroups. Also, note that the same BizTalk beta newsgroup will be used for the BizTalk Server 2006 beta as well as all the BizTalk Accelerator Betas.
