What's the difference between sweetalert and sweetalert2?

The SweetAlert repo seems to be unmaintained. There's a bunch of Pull Requests without any replies, the last merged pull request was on Nov 9, 2014.
I created SweetAlert2 with HTML support in modal and some other options for customization modal window - width, padding, Esc button behavior, etc.
Swal.fire({
title: "<i>Title</i>",
html: "Testno sporocilo za objekt: <b>test</b>",
confirmButtonText: "V <u>redu</u>",
});
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/sweetalert2@11"></script>
Based on a little research it appears the owner of sweetalert V1 is contributing to sweetalert2, so I'd say it's official. I was just worried about going with a version ripped off from the original creator.. now I'm it's settled.

@NickWoodhams, well, to be fair, no he's not [contributing]. Not directly. Those contributions come from the first repo, because @limonte did the thing correctly and did not reset the Git history when he cloned the previous repo.
But it's not stolen. That's open source, the license was compatible and we did point to the old repo, completely abandoned at the time.
Nowadays the codebase is completely different and has nothing in common with the original one, except for the icons maybe. It's an original work.
So, feel free to use whatever version you like and please be assured that we're not thieves :)
