This will help how to solve MB SD Connect C4 EPC application error “Unable to launch the application”.
Update to the latest Java:

Just Google java and the top option was java.com. Within that option, there was a download option (still on Google at this point)

Click that for the latest Java , now: Java 8, Update 91

Download and install

Hopefully it will get you into EPC as well and it works fine.

Usually, it’s a good way to start working again when you did the latest Java update.
