The Taiwan Strait, which connects the East China Sea and the South China Sea, separates mainland China and Taiwan Island.

The Qiongzhou Strait separates Leizhou Peninsula and Hainan Island.

The Bering Strait connects the Arctic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.
