How to Increase Bugzilla attachment size
By default Bugzilla sets the maximum size of attachments and patches to 1 MB.
In order to increase this you need to make a change to both Bugzilla and MySQL
1. Change the maxattachmentsize and maxpatchsize parameters in Bugzilla
In Bugzilla go to parameters and increase the maxattachmentsize and maxpatchsize to the desired size in KBs.
(In the example below I've increased this to 4 MB)
1. Change the size of allowed allowed packets in MySQL
For Linux Enviroment:
Go to your the max_allowed_packet setting in your mysql my.cnf file:
set-variable=max_allowed_packet=4M
Restart mysql:
/etc/init.d/mysqld restart Stopping MySQL: [ OK ] Starting MySQL: [ OK ]
For Windows Enviroment:
mysql's configuration file (my.ini), under [mysqld], add
max_allowed_packet=4M
max_allowed_packet=4M
then ,restart mysql service
