/usr/bin/ld: warning: -z lazyload ignored

SYMPTOMS

While installing/patching  11.2.0.4 Database Home  in OEL 7/RHEL 7, make.log/opatch apply log, shows below messages:

1 2	/usr/bin/ld: warning: -z lazyload ignored. /usr/bin/ld: warning: -z nolazyload ignored.

　　

 The same messages can also appear during patching or manual relink.

CAUSE

This is identified as  an  unpublished bug.

 

SOLUTION

 These  are harmless warnings and can be safely ignored.
