AAF V2 Installation
Script Installation (from an elevated command window):
1) AELib and AAFv2:
a. Run “\\ae-share\public\aaf\builds\debug\aafrunnersetup.cmd dbgv2”
i. This script will uninstall and then install both aelib and aaf
ii. This script has a dependency on the aafsetup.cmd script which is saved in this same folder.
iii. If there are any problems with this script, please contact Norm Hall ( NormH )
2) AAFv2 only:
a. Run “\\ae-share\public\aaf\builds\debug\aafsetup.cmd dbgv2”
i. This script will uninstall and then install aaf
3) If you need to install version 1, then use the argument “dbg” instead of “dbgv2”
4) If you need to install the released version, then use the argument “rel”
5) Use the argument “-?” to see a list of available arguments.
Manual Installation:
1) Copy the MSI Installers for X86/X64 from
· \appcompat\auto\aelib\setup\AAFv2.msi
2) Copy the dev version of aelib from http://www.cnblogs.com/Romantic/admin/file://aebld16/latest_fbl_fun_ae_auto_dev_%25Processor_Architecture%25fretest/bin/NTTEST/WINDOWSTEST/appcompat/auto/aelib or http://www.cnblogs.com/Romantic/admin/file://ae-share/public/aaf/builds/debug to %SystemRoot%\AELIB on the test machine.
3) CD to AELIB and run INSTALL.BAT
4) Install AAFV2 MSI.
