Cool!在虚拟机上装了个Longhorn的体验版，界面果然漂亮了许多。
最明显的就是右边多处了个Sider Bar，上面还有个漂亮的Clock：）而且这个SiderBar可以任意的收缩。
开始菜单中多了两个entries: My Contacts & My Hardwares。
整个Longhorn的底层的file system由于采用了WinFS（Windows Future Storage）。可以很方便的对文件进行检索和分类。
另外，听说Longhorn的采用了Avalon技术，所以界面可以做的很漂亮：
Longhorn's user interface will be built on a new 3D technology called Avalon, which combines the classic Win32 API from legacy Windows versions with XP's GDI+ technology, .NET managed code, Direct 3D and a new Media Framework that will enable full motion vedio right in the UI.
