在ubuntu11.04下安装Quartus II 10.0 备忘

因为工大FTP上只有Quartus II 10.0及以下版本，所以先安装10.0的。如果用镜像安装的话，最好不要挂载，原因是挂载后无法修改挂载的目录文件（我一开始的时候总是先挂载再安装，结果安装文件中提供的库文件与系统中的某库文件冲突），所以直接解压缩到任意目录比较好。然后以root身份切换到该目录

下面要删除安装文件中的某个库文件，该提示是来自于http://www.philpem.me.uk/elec/fpga/quartus-ubuntu/，这篇文章非常切中要害

Now we need to zap the X11 library that Quartus comes with, thus forcing it to use the system libraries...

rm altera_installer/bin/libX11.so.6

然后直接运行安装程序：Run the installer:

sudo bash ./setup（这里是说要使用bash这个shell，但是在系统默认shell为bash的时候也必须加上bash才行，如果不加就会出现“./setup: 1: Syntax error: "&" unexpected”这样的错误，这是为什么呢？求高手赐教！）

然后就可以开始图形化的安装界面了，但是在安装到某些器件时，安装的GUI突然就会停住，然后当掉，这时cancel的话，Quartus是可以启动的，但是安装的Quartus支持的器件就会不完整。

如果查看安装日志文件/tmp/altera_setup.log的话会看到如下网址中提到的问题（中文网站几乎没有提到这个问题的。。。）：

“The installation proceeds halfway with QPixmap warnings. Then when trying to install some family of devices it fails. I have attached a sample error log.”

然后发现有人已经解决了这个问题“I solved this problem. you must install the ´flashplugin-installer´ which the altera_installer_gui needed, I guessed that it really required the adobe flasher supported.”也就是说要安装Adobe flasherer以及flashplugin-installer才行，确实当我安装了这两个东西以后，Quartus安装就可以顺利完成。

按后按照SPYRAL破解补丁（在镜像中就有）中instructions.txt所说的一步一步做就可以轻松破解。

下一步的话安装Nios II EDS ，它的安装相对简单，也是要把那个库文件删除，然后就没有什么问题了。

还有USB—Blaster的遗留问题，等下次再写吧，估计文中提到的第一个网址中已经说的很清楚了

但是其实不用像它文中所说自己去下载一个图标，altera安装目录下就有图标，比如我的 /usr/share/applications/Quartus.desktop 文件是这样的：

按照自己的安装目录来写很简单很方便，启动Nios II EDS，Elicipse也是一样的。
