Team Description

Microsoft Internet Security Center Asia (MISCA) is working on innovative security solutions for online services.   It aims to play a central role in the "Collective Defense on the Internet" strategy, through alliance with online companies, security and AV vendors, as well as government/standard bodies.   The center will create a platform to aggregate security information from the alliance, provide trusted devices and trusted account services, to prevent online fraud and provide trusted/safe online experiences.

The center works with a wide range of industry partners including major online companies in China, banks, and/or organizations.  

Job Description

We’re looking for smart, highly motivated and innovative developers who are passionate about building secure and performant system components/agents.   The agents run on end-point devices to provided trusted devices info to online services for holistic risk control.   The agents can also help secure the system. We may work different devices including phone/tablet/PC, on different layers of the OS, and across different versions of OS (e.g. PC Windows OS), with a wide range of OS technologies.  

Core Requirements

Deep systems level programming experiences using C/C++ on a main stream OS (Windows/Linux/Andriod/iOS) is required.   Strong sense and knowledge of systems and software security.

Qualifications:

•      8+ years experiences shipping major commercial products from inception to delivery.

•      Expert design, coding, debugging and algorithm skills.

•      Expert knowledge and development skill in C/C++.

•      Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

•      Experience working on commerce security hardware/software such as firmware/OS bootloader, AV products, or Firewall is a strong preference.

•      Experience in building Kernel mode driver is a strong plus.

•      A minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, or related technical field. Master degree or PhD in related areas is a plus.
