Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Product/Program Manager who is passionate about providing the best online experience and relevance for our users, and has the aptitude to succeed in a rapid development environment to deliver the top-notch Internet products and services. As a key product driver for the ASG Shared Platform team, you will be working with a geographically distributed global engineering team to build the web-scale knowledge graph and digital intelligence platform & services. In particular, you will be responsible for the following:

•      Lead or participate in defining the platform vision and strategy, own one or more platform areas

•      Understand industry trends and competitive landscape, identify high-value customer scenarios

•      Understand common needs or pain-points from typical customers/partners and translate them into platform requirements

•      Define platform capabilities and services, define platform roadmap and release plan

•      Select strategic pilot partner scenarios to drive platform development and evolution, and to demonstrate its business impacts

•      Evangelize the platform to general partners/customers, maximize the business values of the platform

•      Lead or mentor junior team members, manage inter-dependency of projects and internal partner communications

Required Qualifications

You must have strong product/program management skills – understanding the online industry and Internet user behavior, being analytical and customer-oriented, having a proven track record of effectively leading product team to build platform and deliver services, and having strong written and oral communication skills in English. The qualifications also include

•      5+ years of experience in building web-scale products or platforms and delivering high quality software solutions

•      Track record in software product planning and management

•      Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills

•      Good customer empathy to identify opportunities and areas for innovation

•      Able to work well in a team environment distributed across geographical locations

•      A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field

•      Experience in search engine, information retrieval, or natural language processing would be a great plus but not a must
