时间的2种表达形式：

1.直接： 基数  o'clock(尾部可省略）   e.g.     7:00   seven (o'clock)       8:30   eight-thirty

                X < 30  的情况   分钟数 + past(过） + 基数词            e.g           8:29        twenty-nine past night    

2.间接:  <  

                 X > 30  的情况  (60分钟 - 原分钟数）   to（差）   （原基数词+1小时）   e.g  8:55      five to nine

X = 分钟数

 

15分钟 = 一刻钟  = quarter ['kwɔːtə]

30分钟 = 半小时 = half

 

e.g.

8:15   quarter past eight

8:30  half past eight

8:45  quarter to nine
