A Fruitful Journey

When the winter holiday approaching, I just dreamed about a big sleep. However, the holiday made a turn at the corner,becoming not relaxed but fruitful.

What's impressed me most is the 2-day-long journey to Hangzhou with my parents and friends from other provinces.
Hangzhou is a city which I'm familiar with. When we arrived in the morning, Zhejiang University was our first destination. There, I visited School of Materials Science and Engineering where my father used to learn.

After lunch, we visited my father's classmate's scientific and technological company. It concentrates on the study of materials as well, semiconductor in particular. I'm gratified to learn about the process of producing the materials and see the live work of them.

The night fell. It was the lovely little girl named Yue Yue that brought us delight. She's a primary one pupil from Shanghai who has endless interest to study. I taught her how to buy items through Chinese currency and some basic operation such as plus and times. Yue Yue frequently gazed up at me, thinking the problem I asked. She was so hard-working that even in the hotel she asked for another new knowledge. "She's just like who you used to be",smiled Jing.

The next day, we went to Lingyin Temple. Fortunately, it began to snow heavily. How excited I was! My heart was thumping as the snow danced. Tree was swinging as the wind glowed. We were climbing the mountain as the temple stood. I felt a unique kind of purity that I had never experience.

What a unforgettable journey!

As for the new semester, I plan to make an effort to study math and chemistry. Additionally, it is significant to stay heathy besides study. So I'll keep my habit of running. Well begun is half done. Hope for a great semester!
