[Node.js] Broswerify -- 2

Browserify allows you to leverage 10s of thousands of javascript modules available in the Node Package Manager (npm) in your browser apps.

 

Notice:

// When there is ../ or ./, it will find the file accordingly
var test = require('./test');

// If there is no ../ or ./, it understands to find file in node_modules
var _ = require('underscore');

 

entry.js:

/**
 * Created by Answer1215 on 12/10/2014.
 */
var test = require('./test');
var _ = require('underscore');

var upper = _.map(test, function(s) {
    return s.toUpperCase(); // Should return the str to upper case
});
console.log(upper);

 

test.js:

/**
 * Created by Answer1215 on 12/10/2014.
 */
module.exports = ['foo', 'bar', 'tool'];

 

Broswerfiy: can use '>' instead of '-o'

browserify entry.js > bundle.js

 

You can see on the broswer:

All those are turned to the upper case.
