Liunx中ERROR 2002 (HY000) Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket 'varlibmysqlmysql.sock' (2)报错

问题：

[root@localhost mysql]# mysql -uroot -p

Enter password:

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

 

原因：mysql未找到mysql.sock 文件

解决方法：

1.检查my.cnf

?

1	vim /etc/my.cnf

　　

2.my.cnf文件

?

3.查看mysql是否启动

?

1	/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld status

看mysqld是否停止

如果mysqld停止了就使用命令：

1	/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start

例如：

4.再次输入mysql -u root -p    和密码
