China to boost high-quality development of data industry 中国将推动数据产业高质量发展

China will ramp up efforts to bolster the high-quality development of the data industry, with the compound annual growth rate of the data industry surpassing 15 percent by 2029, according to a new guideline released on Monday.
根据周一发布的一项新的指导方针，中国将大力加强数据产业的高质量发展，到2029年，数据产业的复合年增长率将超过15%。

The guideline, which was jointly released by the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Data Administration and four other government departments, stated that the move is part of the country's crucial measures to deepen reforms related to the market-oriented allocation of data elements and build a digital economy with data as the key element.
这项由国家发改委，国家数据局，和其他四个政府部门联合发布的指导方针，指出此举是国家深化数据要素市场化配置改革，构建以数据为关键要素数据经济的关键举措的之一。

By 2029, the structure of the data industry will be significantly optimized and the supply capacity of data products and services will be greatly improved, while a batch of data enterprises with global competitiveness will be cultivated, the guideline said.
根据指导方针，到2029年，数据产业结构将显著优化，数据产品及服务的供应能力将大幅提升，同时还将培养一批具有全球竞争力的数据公司。

More efforts will be made to accelerate the technological innovation of data, improve the development and utilization level of data resources, promote the circulation and trading of data, as well as strengthen the construction of data infrastructure, it noted.
报告指出，将大力加快数据技术的创新，改善数据资源的开发利用水平，推动数据的流通和交易，同时加强数据基础设施的建设。

Measures should also be taken to propel government departments, industry leading enterprises and internet platform firms to open more scenarios, and support enterprises to expand the application of data elements in fields like manufacturing and modern agriculture, so as to promote the deep integration of the real economy with the digital economy.
还应采取措施，来推动政府部门，行业龙头企业，和互联网平台企业去开放更多的场景，来支持企业扩大数据要素在制造业，现代农业等领域的应用，以促进实体经济和数字经济的深度融合。
