FG来了！

两年一届的FG又来了，而且会离我们很近！

没错，今年的Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition 将会在我们中国的上海举行，多亏了SJTU啊。机不可失，失不再来，赶紧投稿吧，还有一个月的时间足矣写出一篇能够中的文章了！

 

FG和WACV一样，也是由以下两个机构赞助的：

1. IEEE Computer society

2. IEEE Biometrics council

关于FG的介绍，官方介绍如下：

The IEEE Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition is the premier
international forum for research in image and video-based face, gesture, and
body movement recognition. Its broad scope includes: advances in fundamental
computer vision, pattern recognition, computer graphics; machine learning
techniques relevant to face, gesture and body motion; new algorithms and
applications. The program will consist of single-track oral presentations and
poster sessions. Submissions will be rigorously reviewed and should clearly make
the case for a documented improvement over the existing state of the art. FG
2013 will be held in Shanghai, which is the economic and financial centre of
China. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

•Face recognition, analysis and synthesis
•Gesture recognition, analysis and synthesis
•Body motion analysis and synthesis, and action recognition
•Psychological and behavioral analysis
•Technologies and applications

 FG的会议规模要比WACV的会议规模大，参会人数大概在250人左右，不愧是生物特征识别中的顶会啊！
