My favorite English video is The Grand Tour.It is a car show.Being a car show, all three show hosts showed a very high level of knowledge. They are very thorough in their reviews of cars, pointing out all the pros and cons. The stereotype of car shows is usually boring and rigid, but The Grand Tour breaks away from that stereotype.
Compared to other car programs, The Grand Tour is very entertaining and enjoyable, but still top notch in terms of professionalism. Each episode features three hosts traveling to a different country and region, which not only brings the viewers to understand the local culture, but also deepens the viewers' impression of car culture.
There is no funnier part of the show than Conversation Street, where the three hosts bicker with each other about new cars or what's going on in the automotive world. They use funny and sarcastic language to improve their understanding of car culture.
The three hosts may be over half their age, but their love for cars is indelible. In the Mongolia special, the program asked them to cross Mongolia with limited material and the car they crossed needed to be assembled by themselves. Despite the harsh conditions and difficult journey, these three "old men" still completed the trip in seven days. What they represent is the crystallization of car culture and the thick history of car.
