Academic Building Electronic Map

Academic Building Electronic Map is an web-based system for people to get more information about the academic building. Via this map you can search the room and the nearest lift, look through the academic building and the introduction and web page of the office.

I think there are three steps of this Electronic Map

First, I need to create the building’s overlap image and detail images. I will consist them as the below picture show.

Second, I will build tables in database which store information of room, lift, office and others as below.

Table Room:

Third, I will use the web technology to provide a good user experience. For example make sure the images change smoothly.

If there is enough time , I want to improve the map in two aspects:

On the one hand , I will try to enrich the content of map. May be it can show the whole university.

On the other hand, I would like to have an first-person angle version of this electronic map.
