   不知吾道无言无行,而即有言有行者求道,忽遇异物,横执为道,殊不知舍源求流,无时得源,舍本就末,无时得本。 ——《文始真經》

Ordinary people are not able to make sense of dao.

Dao cant not be explained by word nor expressed by deeds.

However, if you insist on seeking like that, then one day you happlily found something, and considered it must be dao.

Hardly realized that source will never be found when you are revelling in the flow

similarly, Essentials will not appear easily when you concentrate on trifles and neglect Essentials.

However, if you insist on seeking it like that, then one day you will happlily find something, and believe it must be dao.

Hardly realizing that the source will never be found when you are lost in the currents

similarly, Essentials will not appear easily when you concentrate on trifle matters and neglect the Essentials.
