linux之Unable to find the ncurses libraries or the required header files.错误解决办法

环境：ubuntu11.10

在内核解压后，要写该配置单，#make menuconfig  出现如下错误：

root@arthur-virtual-machine:/opt/TQ210/Kernel_2.6.35.7_TQ210_for_Linux_v1.1# make menuconfig

 *** Unable to find the ncurses libraries or the
 *** required header files.
 *** 'make menuconfig' requires the ncurses libraries.
 *** 
 *** Install ncurses (ncurses-devel) and try again.
 *** 
make[1]: *** [scripts/kconfig/dochecklxdialog] 错误 1

make: *** [menuconfig] 错误 2

解决办法：

      原来是ubuntu系统没有ncurses这个库。

apt-get install ncurses-dev

那么ncurses这个库到底是什么东东，起什么作用呢？

  ncurses构成了一个工作在底层终端代码之上的封装，并向用户提供了一个灵 活高效的API（Application Programming Interface 应用程序接口）。它提供了移 动光 标，建立窗口，产生颜色，处理鼠标操作等功能。使程序员编写应用程序不 需要关心那些底层的终端操作。
