User-Agent字符串是服务器判断Web客户端的重要依据。 MSDN上有篇文章《Understanding User-Agent Strings》 很好，建议读一下。

 

以下列出IE8在不同Windows版本以及不同渲染模式下的User-Agent 字符串，便于参考。

 

IE8 on Windows Vista (兼容视图)

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0)

IE8 on Windows Vista (标准视图)

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0)

IE8 on Windows 7

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0) 

 

64-bit IE on 64-bit Windows:
