linux编译内核make menuconfig报错Unable to find the ncurses libraries解决办法

错误信息

在 linux 编译内核时 执行make menuconfig 报了下面的错误。

*** Unable to find the ncurses libraries or the

*** required header files.

*** 'make menuconfig' requires the ncurses libraries.

*** Install ncurses (ncurses-devel) and try again.

翻译一下

无法找到ncurses库或者所需的头文件； 'make menuconfig' 过程需要ncurses库；安装以下ncurses库（ncurses-devel）然后再试一下。

问题

这个过程中需要ncurses库，但是在系统里面找不到，也就是基本的依赖库问题。

解决方案

安装一下 ncurses-devel就可以了，这里记录一下CentOS和Ubuntu的安装方法

CentOS：（使用yum intsall）

yum install -y ncurses-devel

Ubuntu：使用 apt-get install

sudo apt-get install ncurses
